    Washington State University (WSU) Intercollegiate Athletics is accepting applications for two positions within the Women's Volleyball program. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled; screening will begin immediately.

    Assistant/Associate Head Coach – Women's Volleyball


    Washington State University is seeking a dynamic, experienced Assistant/Associate Head Volleyball Coach to serve as a strategic partner to the Head Coach in leading and elevating a competitive NCAA Division I program. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and demonstrated success in collegiate volleyball coaching; a Master's degree and/or NCAA Division I experience is preferred. Based on qualifications, experience, and assigned responsibilities, this position may be designated as Associate Head Coach at the discretion of the Head Coach.

    Responsibilities:

    • serve as a senior leader within the program, helping define and implement the team's competitive identity, standards, and long-term vision
    • contribute to roster management, scholarship strategy, and program alignment
    • mentor other assistant coaches and support staff
    • drive leadership development initiatives
    • partner with athletic administration and communications to enhance program visibility, alumni engagement, and brand growth
    • co‑lead practice planning and daily training
    • oversee position‑specific development (preferably setters or passers)
    • contribute to scouting, match strategy, and in‑game adjustments
    • support cross‑departmental coordination
    • ensure full compliance with NCAA, conference, and university policies
