Eutectix LLC is a leading provider of super and master alloys in the United States via Vacuum Induced Melting production.
Build on years of expertise and relationships in materials manufacturing and product development in rare earth elements, Eutectix has production capability to convert rare earth oxides and fluorides to high purity metals in its Tolleson, AZ plant.
Eutectix also operates a sister plant in Troy, MI.
With the disruption in global supply chains for rare earth elements and certain alloys, Eutectix is in a unique position to serve customers in the western hemisphere.
The Eutectix plant in Tolleson, AZ will be the focal point in our strategy to expand capacity and capabilities over the next several years.
The Role:
We seek a candidate for this role of Production Manager that thrives in a dynamic, complex environment. The person will need to effectively multi-task as the business quickly expands. The person will have experience planning for expansion and possess project planning experience.
The role interacts with production staff, corporate management, customers, vendors and other stake holders requiring the candidate to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This person will provide the leadership of and assume responsibility for, the day-to-day operation of the Eutectix Tolleson, AZ facility.
This individual will be responsible for overall performance of the site including the staff (~10 people now), ensuring that key operational metrics are met, as well as coordinating the production, maintenance, and safety activities for the site.
Responsibilities- Ensure the timely and safe production of products to meet customer needs within cost budgets, quality requirements to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Maintain adequate staffing, proper training and scheduling to ensure Eutectix customer commitments are met.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment with special attention to safety, inventory control, and spare parts.
- Monitor, communicate and react to the monthly performance of the Tolleson site against annual business plan and provide information to explain and address variances.
- Oversee, monitor and report on-site activities to ensure all processes and procedures conform to best practice and support the aims of the company.
- Provide reports and insights regarding production, cost savings, capital requirements and other business critical topics to company management.
- Support and promote the Quality Management System of Eutectix and contribute to its refinement and development.
- Ensure key quality objectives and KPIs are being met and leading corrective actions when non conformances occur.
- Ensure all site activities are undertaken with due regard to the Health and Safety of personnel and equipment and specifically within the guidelines set by the company and demanded by law.
- Comply with all relevant Environmental legislation in respect of materials, emissions, and waste disposal practices.
- Minimum of - 5 years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers, vendors and other stake holders.
- Proficiency with Office Business Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with CAD programs is a plus.
- Experience working in a dynamic, growth oriented environment.
- Previous project planning experience is desirable.
- Basic understanding of Local, State, Federal regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety regulations.
- Practical knowledge of routine maintenance requirements – equipment, facilities, etc.
- Familiar with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Degree from an accredited University in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy or other science based degree.
- Certificates or classroom studies in Safety and Project Planning are desirable.

A competitive salary, commiserate with experience and an annual bonus opportunity are offered.
