Job summary
The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emission Strategies team within Gas Engineering plays a critical role in advancing PG&E's True North Strategy and help PG&E meet its goal to achieve net-zero GHG emissions by 2040 and become “climate positive” by 2050. The team leads efforts to reduce methane emissions, develop pathways to decarbonize the gas supply, and influence state policy by leveraging PG&E's technical expertise as a pipeline operator.Responsibilities
- CALCULATE GHG EMISSIONS ESTIMATES THAT ARE USED FOR BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL REPORTING,
- ANALYZE OPERATIONAL AND GHG EMISSIONS DATA TO DETERMINE TRENDS AND POTENTIAL AREAS-OF-IMPROVEMENT,
