    Industry: Advanced Aerospace / Emerging Flight Technologies

    Location: Onsite

    A leading aerospace program developing next‑generation flight hardware is looking for an Additive Manufacturing Technician to join its Production Realization Lab. This team supports rapid prototyping and production‑support activities, delivering high‑quality printed components that enable fast design iteration, test readiness, and hardware development.

    If you have hands‑on experience with SLA, SLS, and FDM systems and enjoy working in a fast-paced engineering environment, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with cutting‑edge designs and technology.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot SLA, SLS, and FDM additive manufacturing systems
    • Prepare print jobs including orientation, support structures, slicing, and material selection
    • Perform post-processing operations such as de‑powdering, washing, curing, support removal, and surface finishing
    • Carry out routine machine maintenance, calibration, and material changeovers
    • Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to deliver parts meeting functional and dimensional requirements
    • Support rapid prototyping, fixtures, tooling, and production‑intent parts
    • Inspect printed components for dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and overall quality
    • Document print settings, build data, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience operating additive manufacturing systems (SLA, SLS, FDM)
    • Strong understanding of additive materials, processes, and their limitations
    • Experience with post-processing and part finishing techniques
    • Ability to interpret CAD models and technical drawings
    • Familiarity with slicing and print preparation software
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
