- 5+ years experience within chemical/biochem engineering experience
- At least 5 years of Industry experience (Pharma, Lab, Manufacturing, or Quality experience)
- Previous experience working in Manufacturing environment
- Strong experience within fermentation, cell culture, proteins and vaccines
- Previous experience working with large molecules and process development for vaccines or proteins
- Must have experience working within a USDA or FDA regulated environment
- MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER
- Previous experience within the Animal or Human Health Industry

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Engineering Specialist for an Animal Vaccine R&D and manufacturing site in De Soto, KS. This position will be responsible for process development as it relates to fermentation, cell culture, proteins, and vaccines. They will be working with small bio reactors and running lyophilization's and freeze drying. This person will need come from a chemical or biological background with a strong understanding of working in a vaccine manufacturing environment regulated by the USDA. Other duties will include writing reports and protocol, coordinating meetings, and managing technical projects. In addition, this person will need to be able to cross collab across the R&D, Production, and Quality deportments for manufacturing support.
