Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locums General Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) to support the largest hospital on the Southern Coast of Oregon. This 127-bed, Level III trauma facility provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the surgical team with a full scope of general surgical and perioperative care, assisting in both pre-operative and post-operative management. Opportunities exist to assist in various procedures, including bariatric and robotic surgeries, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Shift Details

Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

Qualifications

Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA)
Active Oregon license (or willingness to obtain)
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a PA in an orthopedic or general surgery setting
Preferred candidates will have ties to Oregon, such as family connections or previous residence in the area
