Prime Video is expanding its selection of content across all of our offerings - Sports, Amazon Originals, Free With Prime, Free With Ads, Rent or Buy, Third Party Channels, and Linear TV.

You might have heard of big announcements in different territories. With expanded selection, we are also making significant investments in improving personalization, and are growing our team this year.

In this role, you would own ranking of content on Prime Video Home Page and other pages. You would be solving real world problems at the confluence of engineering, machine learning, and business.

A day in the life
In your day to day work, you will engage closely with a talented engineering team, including multiple senior/principal engineers. You will also interact with a host of other roles on a regular basis. This includes Applied Scientists, Economists, Product Managers, and Business Leaders.

You will work on projects that have the potential of outsized impact on the business, and an opportunity to learn and solve problems in a multi-disciplinary space.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of noninternship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
