- Assess students' orientation and mobility needs through observation and evaluation
- Develop individualized orientation and mobility training plans based on students' strengths, needs, and goals
- Teach students orientation skills such as spatial awareness, environmental concepts, and directional skills
- Instruct students in mobility skills including cane techniques, travel safety, and route planning
- Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including teachers, therapists, and parents, to support students' overall development
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Orientation and Mobility or a related field.
- Certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) from a recognized accrediting body.
- Active PA clearances.
- Multiple students / Multiple locations Travel between sites required.
