Refund Specialist

• TemporarySeeking a Temporary Refund Specialist in Johnson City, TN at our Central Billing Office.

Office hours typically 8-5, Monday through Friday.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resolve patient and insurance credit balances
• Recoupment requests
• Prepare refund requests and documentation
• Reconcile refunds
• Interact with Cash Management Supervisor when credit balance issues occur
• Compile information and prepare reports

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or

GEDEXPERIENCE:
One year of medical billing experience with demonstrated initiative and self-direction
