    BBG Construction Law is a Denver-based, boutique construction law firm founded on construction law expertise and industry experience.

    Our clients include leaders in the construction industry who rely on us to litigate, arbitrate, or otherwise resolve complex disputes related to construction projects. We draft and negotiate high-stakes high-dollar construction agreements and advise project teams on high-profile construction projects.

    Job Summary

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Attorney to join our team in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Litigation, arbitration, mediation, dispute resolution board actions, and other dispute resolution processes related to construction contracts and/or projects.
    • Draft, revise, and negotiate construction agreements.
    • Provide guidance on project-related legal matters including risk management and compliance with regulations.
    • Utilize strong legal research and writing skills to combine legal principles with practical industry solutions.
    • Strategize with project teams before, during, and after the construction phase of projects.

    Requirements

    • 3-7 years of experience as an associate attorney.
    • Must be admitted to practice law in Colorado, California, Arizona, or Oregon.
    • Working knowledge of relevant construction-industry topics such as mechanic's lien law, public contracting generally, insurance applicable to construction projects, and payment and performance bonds.
    • Familiar with standard construction-industry form agreements.
    • Experience providing project support and contract administration.
