    3.1OVERALL SCOPE
    Accountable for project execution and release to Jabil's sites based on Customers and Jabil's standards.

    Guide Molding Process Development, assure highest standards are being maintain and follow up on product performance thru the molding's cell (KPI).

    3.2AUTHORITY


    • To lead and collaborate, changes to actual processes on molding area and mold validations / Molding machine and peripherical equipment / Robot's End of Arm.
    • To create working procedure on Molding Areas and approve changes on document control platform such as J.D., NWQS, Windchill, site specific software as applicable.
    3.3 RESPONSABILITIES
    Responsible for ensuring Jabil sites execute to Customer & Jabil Standards for asset delivery
    Global technical Liaison for Jabil's Sites and Customers
    Directs site teams on Molding & Tooling guiding principles inline with Jabil's WCM / Customer
    Customer facing - Participate from NEW RFQ's, Initiation to PQ, to product release and first runs
    Advises on vendor selection
    Accountable for NEW Molding asset delivery
    Supports site with engineering hiring
    Can lead development projects
    Responsible for ensuring Jabil sites setup & execute to Customer's M&R process
    Escalation support for serious breakdowns including root cause & corrective action on Jabil's sites, Customers and suppliers as needed
    Support sites on Mold Tooling Vendor escalations
    Support site with identifying, defining & executing Downtime, Scrap & OEE projects during hand off ramp up production.
    To train Sites Customers and Suppliers on Scientific Injection Molding Methodologies and Jabil's standards, random audits to NPI validations to assure Jabil's standards
    Close collaboration on RFQ's, DFM's, Design Reviews, FOT, MFAT, Mold Validations at Jabil's Sites and suppliers
    Identify, new technologies and applications that meet Jabil and costumer's actual and future needs.
    To provide support to other Sites thru Q&A global process platform
    Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed
    3.4 GOALS
    Meet delivering date of projects, within specifications and efficiency. It will be measured by on-time projects and projects performance.

    JOB PROFILE
    5.1ACADEMIC LEVEL (MINIMUM REQUIRED)
    *Bachelor Degree
    5.2JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE
    *Minimum 7 Years on similar position
    5.3DOMAIN OF ACTIVITIES


    • BS in engineering or related technical field
    • 10+ years' experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment, last 7 years MUST be on the Process Engineering Area of regulated industries such as Medical Devices or Automotive.
    • *5+ years' experience in collaborating with technical groups such as Automation, Tooling Eng, Process Eng, Maintenance Eng, and Tool Room Eng., on the validation and implementation of new projects.
    • *Proven troubleshooting, process development and process capabilities improvements on injection molding based on Scientific Injection Molding principles
    • *Extensive experience collaborating with Mold and Molded Components design reviews, improvements and, manufacture of injection molding components (Parts/Product)
    • Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and general statistics such as CpK, PpK, DOE and its analysis on statistical software's such as Minitab
    • Experience with or willingness to learn Solidworks software, Minitab software, SPC, FMEA, DFM, e-Dart and DOE as needed.
    • *Experience closely participating on Injection Molding tools design, construction stages and its implementation on production
    • *Strong knowledge on injection molding equipment selection including auxiliary equipment
    • *Strong knowledge on Injection Molding Machine controls and Injection Molding Valve gated tools and good knowledge of its Maintenance
    • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills to work with projects in different sites.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • *Be able to effectively communicate on English and Regional Language
    • *Travel requirements are from 25% to 50%, based on projects workload, and his/her ability to effectively work remotely with other sites, customers, and suppliers.
    • *Self-starter and able to work in teams with corporate technical and strategic leaders
