    We are seeking to hire a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for a prestigious organization committed to shaping a future where humanity thrives beyond Earth's bounds.


    Based out of a once frontier mining town, Durango, CO, the firm is a leading innovator in thrusters and propulsion systems providing solutions and high performance for next-generation space travel.

    They are a top choice for U.S. gov't missions and have supported prime contractors to the DoD, NASA, and other agencies.

    Responsibilities:
    Design aerospace components and assemblies for propulsion systems
    Conduct structural, thermal, and fluid analysis
    Create engineering drawings and plans for manufacturing
    Interface with Test and manufacturing teams, and external suppliers

    Qualifications:
    5+ years of Mechanical Engineering
    Proficiency with Mechanism Desing
    Experience designing for extreme in-space environments (temperature, highly corrosive etc.)
    Experience with designing fluid system components (e.g. pressure vessels, control valves and fittings)
    Proven experience in Space/Spacecraft, Aerospace, and/or Defense or Related Sectors
    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace engineering or other related fields
    Strong Experience with CAD/CAM Software (e.g. SolidWorks, Catia etc.)


    Bonus Points:
    Advanced technical degree and experience with spacecraft thrusters/propulsion systems
