The Assistant Dean & Director of Finance for the Marshall School of Business and Leventhal School of Accounting creates manages and directs a $400M budget financial transactions produces accurate internal and external financial reports leads the short and long-term budget planning forecasting payroll function variance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Strategic financial planning Budgeting Leading the creation of the school's annual operating budget ensuring it aligns with the long-term financial operational goals of the schools.
- Responsible for managing managing budget identifying trends revenue expense under performance for budget goals Long-term forecasting Developing multi-year models to predict future enrollment trends staffing costs operational expenses capital funding needs Resource allocation advising on available resources distribute priorities Acting liaison internal external auditors ensuring compliance USC policies procedures finance Establishing enforcing Financial policies fraud transparency transactions Managing scholarship distribution process student fees alignment donors policy Managing team finance officers bookkeepers administrative staff Providing training delegated responsibilities manage departmental budgets effectively.
