The Senior Buyer negotiates contractual arrangements between Mount Sinai Medical Center and selected vendors committing funds to ensure the procurement of high quality equipment, supplies and other products at optimum cost.Responsibilities
- Maintains a relationship with vendors to ensure the procurement of high quality equipment and products.
- Analyzes markets to determine vendors sources and product availability.
- Develops bids for products, services and capital purchases according to purchasing policies and conventions.
