    We are looking for a Vice President, Supply Chain to oversee the supply chain operations, including procurement, forecasting, demand planning, as well as inbound and outbound transportation, to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers.

    As a member of FRCs leadership team, the VP, Supply Chain will provide technical, strategic, and creative leadership and direction to the Supply Chain function, including strategic sourcing support, materials management, and procurement of materials, parts, components systems, and services. The VP, Supply Chain will use his/her experience in a leading manufacturing organization to bring structure, process and metrics to FRC, to drive performance and continuous improvement in cost, productivity, working capital management and other critical areas.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Direct all aspects of FRCs Supply Chain and lead and inspire FRCs team of Supply Chain professionals, including those in purchasing, sourcing and scheduling and shipping & receiving;
    • Develop, deploy and manage systems, processes, standard operating procedures and key performance metrics to forge an industry-class supply chain organization;
    • Utilize a LEAN toolbox to drive continuous improvement in areas such as cost, quality, productivity, cycle time, forecasting and working capital;
    • Qualify, develop and manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers to ensure FRC receives optimal cost, quality, on-time delivery and long-term supply;
    • Manage inventory from materials, to work-in-process to finished goods, to optimize accuracy and meet production requirements;
    • Develop and maintain supportive cross functional relationships across FRC, including operations, finance, sales, engineering and product management;

    REQUIRMENTS

    • years of experience in a manufacturing supply chain organization, with at least five in a leadership role; auto or vehicle experience ideal, but not required;
    • utilizing and optimizing best-in-class supply chain systems, processes, metrics and other tools to drive superior performance;
    • developing and deploying sophisticated supply chain tools into less-mature environments and demonstrated ability to do so without overwhelming the organization;
    • developing and managing sophisticated procurement strategies and tactics to ensure optimal cost, quality and delivery from suppliers;
    • ability to negotiate complex contractual agreements and third-party relationships;
    • developing and managing accurate forecasting strategies;
    • managing inventory (especially WIP and finished goods) and warehousing;
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to the entire organization, from the C-suite to the shop floor;
    • A demonstrated commitment to the highest levels of ethics and integrity.
