    Description

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures on patients of all ages.
    • Explain procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner to reduce anxieties and ensure patient cooperation.
    • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
    • Adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal views of the body region requested by physicians.
    • Determine exposure factors based on patient height, weight, and body portion involved.
    • Maintain radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in two specialties (CT and Mammography) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • ARRT Certification in each specialty.
    • California Radiologic Technologist Certificate.
    • Basic Life Support certification.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse groups.

    Salary Information:

    The estimated annual salary for this position is $72,000-$90,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
