Hybrid Role (Partially Onsite-Partially Remote): We are currently seeking a Full-Time Clarity Caboodle Database Administrator to join our Epic Department at the Chickasaw Nation Department of Health.

Hybrid office locations in Ada, OK and Plano, TX.

Summary:

Develops procedures, designs applications, designs programs, performs vendor product analysis and problem-solving to solve business problems.

Installs and maintains the Clarity and Caboodle consoles used to transfer data nightly from Chronicles into the Clarity database and from Clarity into the Caboodle database, ensuring that the ETL process is completed daily.

Develops custom ETL import packages and leverage existing Epic-developed packages to move non-Epic data into the Caboodle reporting database.

Responsibilities:

Provides direction in designing and implementing assigned application and/or operating systems environments, including providing support for designated processes
Identifies architectural issues and proposes alternative solutions to technical problems
Performs systems performance and process modeling to establish the foundation for the architecture approach
Prepares and maintains documentation to support computer operations, related manual procedures, and technical references and conducts user training
Maintains and monitors assigned system/application environments, including production, quality assurance, and development systems
Installs upgrades and patches to existing systems
Identifies and implements performance-tuning enhancements as needed
Analyzes non-Caboodle datasets to identify required data elements to be moved into Caboodle
Maps non-Epic datasets to existing database structures within Caboodle
Designs and develops custom database structures within Caboodle as needed
Develops custom imports to move additional Epic data from Clarity to Caboodle
Develops custom import packages to move non-Epic data into Caboodle
Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment
Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment
Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks
Maintains and promotes professionalism
Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
May provide break coverage for others as assigned
May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit
Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
Participates in performance improvement activities to measure, assess and improve the quality of assigned work area
Maintains the scope and work plan and ensures all milestones and deliverables are on time and within budget
