Responsibilities:
The Process Engineer will conduct technical studies for unit optimization, emphasizing safety, environmental compliance, reliability, efficiency, and cost improvements.
Participate in team design engineering efforts to identify and achieve process and cost improvements.
Act as the main point of contact for plant technical issues, working cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and maintenance.
Maintain Process Safety Information, administer and monitor MOC records' status.
Manage and maintain process computers, including updates, programming, safety system testing, and training.

Requirements

The Process Engineer will have a BS degree in chemical engineering and 5+ years of process engineering experience in a chemical plant or refinery.

Experience in the mineral acids field a strong plus.
DCS experience, project engineering experience, and leadership of projects.
Knowledge of Pi and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
