    A. Morton Thomas & Associates, Inc. (AMT, Inc.) is currently looking for **Transportation Construction Inspectors** to provide support for various construction and maintenance tasks in Northern Virginia as part of Locally Administered Projects. If you're interested, here's what you need: - Valid driver's license - Availability for night shifts, overtime, and weekends as required - Capability to work autonomously or as part of a team - Ability to pass a background check. Your responsibilities will include: - Verifying work compliance with plans and specifications - Measuring and verifying quantities, dimensions, and specifications - Serving as a nexus between LAP program administrators and the prime contractor. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Over 3 years of experience in transportation construction, preferably in Virginia - Full VDOT certifications are highly desirable - Candidates with some VDOT certifications will be evaluated based on past project involvement. **Why Choose to Join AMT?** At AMT, our people are our most precious resource.
