- Prepare profitability, balance sheet, and performance reporting on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc basis.
- Develop intuitive user dashboards and interfaces using Power BI and other analytical platforms for enhanced data visualization.
- Communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Support various financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, funds transfer pricing, profitability, interest rate risk and investment management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in financial analysis methodologies, reporting systems, and workflow processes, leveraging Power BI and SQL for data-driven insights.
- Actively participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving data accuracy/completeness for reporting.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to deliver precise financial data to management for informed decision-making.
- Engage in ad hoc financial projects to address specific business needs and challenges.
- Fulfill all other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor (4-year college) degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; and 8+ years of experience
- Five or more years of financial analysis, preferably within a financial institution
- Solid understanding of finance principles, including bank balance sheets
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends, perform complex calculations and interpret data.
- CPA/MBA/CFA/Accounting firm experience a plus
- Strong presentation (oral and written communication) skills with ability to effectively communicate to senior executives and finance partners.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a team and leading projects.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
