    Description

    Join the dynamic team at Reyes Fleet Management based in our Reyes Beverage Group facility in Pompano Beach. We are currently looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to join our expanding fleet shop that handles various renowned brands.

    Shift: Tuesday - Friday 1:30pm-9:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-4:30pm
    Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with expertise

    Role Overview:
    The position of Fleet Technician B involves primarily maintaining the fleet diesel equipment of Reyes Holdings businesses. The technician will collaborate with senior technicians for repair and diagnostics.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on fleet diesel equipment
    • Diagnose and repair basic failures/conditions of trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units
    • Thorough documentation of maintenance and repairs through a designated system
    • Ensure all equipment meets necessary regulations before use
    • Installation and repair of onboard computers and cameras
    • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks
    • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
    • Follow safety protocols and regulations
    • Assist in training other team members

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical repairs on heavy and medium-duty equipment
    • Ownership of essential tools
    • Valid driver's license
    • Clear driving record
    • Ability to work flexible schedules
    • Effective communication skills
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
    • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug tests

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • ASE Certifications (or willingness to obtain)
    • Trade school certification
    • CDL
    • Specialized training in vehicle component repair
