    We have an immediate need to hire a seasoned, autonomous, business savvy, quality and safety minded leader for our South Gate manufacturing plant.

    Position Summary
    The Plant Manager plays a crucial leadership role in driving operational excellence at our South Gate, CA manufacturing facility. This position will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in manufacturing management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities
    Production Management:
    Plan, direct, and coordinate daily production activities to achieve on-time delivery, quality targets, and cost objectives.
    • Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety. Implement, enforce, and continuously improve safety programs and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Personnel Management: Supervise, train, and develop the plant workforce. Promote a team-oriented culture, manage employee performance, and address issues in a timely manner.
    • Maintenance and Reliability: Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs for plant equipment and facilities to ensure maximum uptime.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, waste reduction initiatives, and lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality standards and ensure production output meets or exceeds customer specifications.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze production reports, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in engineering.
    • 5+ years of progressive management experience in plant management within a manufacturing environment.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing techniques, and quality control systems.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence skills.
    Desired Qualifications
    • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or related field
    • Experience implementing Six Sigma or other advanced process improvement methodologies.
    • Proficiency in project management software.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish a big +

    • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the plant environment.
    • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Ability to work in environments that may be noisy, dusty, and have varying temperatures.
