    Description

    Central Transport, LLC, a leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 90 years is currently seeking a Collections Specialist for our National Accounts here at our corporate office in Warren, MI. We are in search of an assertive, highly organized individual who is looking to take the next step in their career. This client facing role is a critical position to maintaining customer perception of our organization as well as to ensure timely payment for services rendered.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
    • Communicate with sales team members as needed regarding account status
    • send monthly statements and preform audits.
    • Maintain and notate all necessary information regarding customer account statuses.
    • Locate and notify customers with delinquent accounts via email/ phone/ mail.
    • Provide overall collections support as necessary.

    Requirements:

    • Superior communication skills.
    • Proficiency in excel is preferred.
    • Should be highly motivated and have a strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
    • ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times.
    • Affinity for detailed note taking and investigation/research.
    • Positive outlook/team member.

    Salary and Benefits:

    • Starting rate at $52,000 and up based on experience
