    Summary:

    The HVAC lead will work in collaboration with engineering professionals, construction professionals, DC Operations and brand leadership in order to support both short- and long-term strategies for all brands. Provide oversight to maintain the HVAC infrastructure and related assets.

    Reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance and provides leadership for all HVAC Technicians.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for both routine and non-routine departmental operating procedures and policies as they relate to HVAC systems
    • Implement/monitor aggressive energy management program, manage energy performance analysis and facilities improvement plans
    • Coordinate/monitor the activities of outside Vendors and Contractors performing work in the facility
    • Plan and estimate the work to be accomplished by HVAC Technicians and outside Contractors
    • Identify non-productive situations and seek solutions to problems
    • Analyze job accomplishments and advise key members of the staff on work completed, problem areas and recommend areas for improvement

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • A minimum of three years related experience in management of Automated systems
    • Strong project management skills with attention to details
    • A minimum of five years experience in a Building Automated Environment Systems
    • Demonstrated experience of organizing and managing support for projects
    • Working knowledge of BAS systems Delta Controls, Trane Chiller interface (Robert Shaw 350A/3500 Legacy systems), Microsoft based applications such spreadsheets, scheduling and other project management tools
    • General familiarity with Information Systems as related to Maintenance Management, Purchasing and Inventory (CMMS systems: eMaint/MP2)
    • Demonstrated experience of organizing and managing project Teams
    • Demonstrated diagnostic and problem-solving skills

    Education:

    • BS, MBA or graduate degree is a plus
