Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Security, Communications Systems Engineer-(CAN0000EN) Your Impact: Here's What You'll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Civil engineering or related field from an accredited program, university, or college. A Master's Degree is a plus.
• Substantial post graduate professional years of experience in the design and commissioning of intelligent transportation systems, security systems and/or communication networks
• Project Management a plus
• Working knowledge of intelligent transportation systems, security systems, and/or communication networks
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Capable of working in a team environment, including giving and receiving critical feedback
• Strong and effective verbal and written communications skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and owners, and able to respond in a timely manner to their requests and needs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport self to sites on short notice
• Local to greater Boston MA, or willing to relocate to the area
Experience with some or all the following:
• Traffic control devices such as electronic variable message boards, wrong way driver detection
• Surveillance technology and video management platforms
• Electronic Access Control hardware
• Communications networks including wi-fi, cellular, 5G, and fiber optics
• Emerging technologies such as solar, electric vehicle charging, or autonomous vehicle planning
• AutoCAD, Revit, and/or MicroStation
