- Oversee activities of production and quality control, supervision, and activities of employees
- Develop long-term goals and strategies to meet business objectives for Hoshin
- Knowledge of time needed to produce each part
- Establish plans and targets for Parts Per Hour (PPH)
- Ability to understand each of his/her managers needs
- Develop a rapport with hiring managers and work as a team
- Gather and analyze information from work sites to identify root causes in resolving business issues
- Employ 8-Step Problem Solving to resolve problems for continual improvement
- Direct and assign work schedules, assignments, tasks, and duties
- Train and develop employees to perform job duties according to company procedures and policies for safety and accuracy
- Monitor results and processes to proactively maximize production and eliminate waste
- Prepare departmental reports and present them to executive management
- Complete necessary documentation, such as status changes, time-off requests, and performance evaluations
- Work with Human Resources Manager to identify and interview potential employees for job positions
- Collaborate with other Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and team members in sharing information to address business needs
- Develop and implement standard work instructions
- Create forecast for labor and cost
- Ensures quality standards are upheld
- Other duties as assigned
- Proven track record in consistently meeting or exceeding KPI's in a GM position
- Strong operational experience, with the ability to establish and measure KPI's
- 5+ years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing environment, with 2+ years being in a GM role
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Comply with FIC's Safety policies and procedures
- Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards

Established in 1994, we have been in Carol Stream, IL from the beginning and added an additional facility in Bloomingdale, IL. A Japanese owned manufacturer of stamped and welded products, supplying the automotive industry with performance auto parts, related to emissions, fuel, and exhaust.
