    Overview:


    The CDC Foundation is seeking a full-time, 40 hours per week, Management Analyst I to support the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) in the Administration-Fiscal Unit.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field
    • And 1 year of professional experience which included budgeting, accounting, and/or economic or management analysis and projections
    • Or graduation from high school or equivalent education and 3 years of professional experience as described above
    • Ability to interpret and understand laws, regulations, policies, and protocols.
    • Knowledge of financial analysis, planning, and budget administration.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct and/or assist in conducting financial, statistical or investigative studies; compile and analyze data; prepare and present reports summarizing study results/conclusions; may make recommendations regarding policies, procedures, the department's position on issues or future course of action, and the development of new programs or services based upon study findings.
    • Plan, organize and coordinate the development and implementation of revised operating procedures/methods for the work unit by analyzing workflow, space allocation, staffing and other factors to improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations; coordinate the development of new forms, work methods and automated systems used to process information related to assigned programs.
    • Monitor and review complex post-award contracts, grants, and subgrants; recommend approval or modification to contractual documents based on governing laws and regulations.
    • Review, write, revise and recommend administrative policies for the work unit and/or programs; issue oral and written directives in the form of policy statements and manuals; prepare correspondence.
    • Review, monitor and research bills submitted to the Legislature impacting the work unit; inform management of possible implications; and recommend an appropriate course of action.

    This role is involved in a dynamic public health program. As such, roles and responsibilities are subject to change as situations evolve.

    Roles and responsibilities listed above may be expanded upon or updated to match priorities and needs, once written approval is received by both the CDC Foundation and Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, in order to best support the State of Nevada in their public health programming.

    This position is located in Carson City, Nevada and will be working full-time in the office. CDC Foundation retains the right to make adjustments to this as required.
