- The first 3 weeks will focus on training, obtaining ServeSafe Food Handler and TIPs certifications, and getting oriented into our company culture/operating guidelines.
- Upon restaurant opening, responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Accountable for ensuring interactions between guests and employees are handled properly
- Responsible for assisting F&B Manager in overseeing day to day restaurant operations
- Assists in training all lounge/bar staff
- Responds to guest complaints in a timely manner
- Keeps F&B Manager fully informed on all matters that require their attention
- Maintaining contact with kitchen staff, management and serving staff to ensure everything is running smoothly
- Be up to date on all promotions/packages hotel is offering
- As needed, collect payment and input into POS
- Must be able to handle guests requests courteously and work a flexible schedule with professionalism and respect
- Ensures full compliance with brand, department and hotel standard operating procedures
- Ensures that all restock, cleaning and side work is completed by the team and steps in to assist as needed
- May need to step in to cover a shift or assist during busy periods (however note that as a supervisor, this role is NOT tip eligible.)
