    Job Title: Adjunct Faculty in Composition
    Agency: Texas A&M University - San Antonio

    Job Description:
    • Texas A&M University-San Antonio is looking for part-time faculty for the Fall 2024 semester to teach undergraduate courses in English Composition, Technical Writing, and Integrated Reading and Writing, based on academic qualifications.
    • The number of available courses and positions will depend on departmental need.

    Compensation: $3,000 per course

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in English, or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution
    • Minimum of 18 graduate hours in English or related field

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Minimum of one year college or university teaching experience
    • Experience teaching composition, technical writing, and integrated reading and writing
    • Experience teaching non-traditional, first-generation students
    • Experience with contemporary instructional technologies such as e-portfolios
    • Ph.D. in English or related field preferred
