Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Medical Coder with strong experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to work with our RCM partners and physician leaders to ensure accurate medical coding, timely claim submission, and optimized reimbursement.Responsibilities
- Medical Coding & Documentation
- Support clinical leadership in review of provider documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Ensure coding complies with federal regulations payer guidelines industry standards liRevenue Cycle Management (RCM) Partnership Work with our partners manage end-to-end RCM processes including charge entry claims submission follow-ups Ensure that we submit clean claims commercial government managed care payers Work with our partners review resolve claim rejections denials timely manner Work executive clinical leadership identify root causes denials implement corrective actions Post payments adjustments reconcile accounts needed Monitor accounts receivable A/R follow unpaid underpaid claims Compliance Quality Stay current coding updates payer policies regulatory changes Participate coding audits quality assurance reviews Maintain HIPAA compliance patient confidentiality times Reporting Collaboration Generate review RCM coding reports identify trends improvement opportunities Collaborate providers billing staff administrative teams improve revenue performance Support process improvements increase accuracy efficiency collections Qualifications Required Certified Medical Coder credential CPC CCS equivalent Strong knowledge ICD-10-CM CPT HCPCS preferred years experience medical coding RCM Experience multiple specialties e.g primary care specialty practices hospital-based liKnowledge Medicare Medicaid commercial payer guidelines Skills Competencies High attention detail accuracy Strong analytical problem-solving skills Effective written verbal communication Ability manage multiple tasks meet deadlines Proficiency Microsoft Office billing/coding software Compensation Benefits Offer competitive compensation package health benefits paid time off retirement plan professional development opportunities Salary commensurate experience ranges per year
