    Description

    We (BlueWave) are a tech company looking to bring on an associate project manager. We are looking for someone that is driven, organized, willing to get hands on, and wants to understand the details of how a "project" gets from 0 to 1.

    BlueWave manufactures commercial security products (think the tech behind your FOB). We work with accounts that are 6 doors to thousands and span across the entire country, even at times internationally. You will work closely with the sales and support team as well as operations and finance to make the large projects happen.

    From day one, we will train you on the security industry and what is required of the role. You will report to the CFO in our San Diego Office. Expected base compensation for the role is 50k - 55k with benefits, bonus, and employee shares.

    Responsibilities

    Coordinating Walk-throughs - You Will manage and coordinate walkthroughs for upcoming jobs. The sales team will request this if a job is getting further down the funnel. This will require picking a strong installer, onsite coordination, Labor quote, special order items etc. The sales team will be responsible for putting together the rest of the quote.

    Project Manage assigned deals - You will help manage the logistical elements of the project: walkthroughs, finalizing estimates, working with partner installers, all hands meetings, final list of materials, weekly action items, expectation reporting, and cost projections. You will be the end user's main point of contact for the project. We will have a weekly meeting to review current projects. Sign off will be required for labor estimates and a few other items.

    Engage with the Technical Support department - Each of these projects will require our support team to help out. You will be responsible for Coordinating with tech support when they are needed for a deployment. You will be the intermediary between Bluewave Support and the end user for the duration of the project.

    National Account Rollouts (Service Work) - Report on KPIs to track work orders and new installations. Serve as the point of contact for Macys and Bloomingdales troubleshooting. Implement all above tasks on a case by case basis as problems arise per store.

    Qualifications

    Familiar with Click up (Project management tool)

    Has 2 + years of full time work experience

    Bachelors Degree

    Organized

    has experience with QuickBooks
