- Provide day-to-day management of the design engineering group, focusing on new product ideas and conceptual design
- Oversee and participate in the development of mechanical, hydraulic, power transfer, and structural designs, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives
- Collaborate with other departments to establish scopes for new designs and address existing design concerns
- Assist in the development of standard systems and products, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes
- Write and/or revise maintenance manuals and product instructions to support product designs
- Provide support for Manufacturing, Sales, Field Service, and other departments within the Company
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a technical Design Engineering Group
- Periodic travel required (15 to 25%)
- Experience in product development and manufacturing systems
- Proficiency in Inventor/AutoCAD/SolidWorks
- Strong communication skills and ability to present professionally
- Knowledge of CFD, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and MathCAD is a plus
