    Contract to Hire


    Job Title:
    Network Technician


    Responsibilities:
    Work a minimum of two days/week, with the ability to flex up for projects.
    Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems, including Cat 5/6 cables.
    Perform cable management and cleanup to ensure neat and organized cabling infrastructure.

    Conduct site surveys to assess the requirements for installing wireless access points and troubleshoot any issues related to wireless installation.

    Install and configure network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
    Provide support for data center operations, including rack and stack, cable management, and hardware installation.
    Collaborate with other technicians and teams to ensure the smooth implementation of network infrastructure projects.
    Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.


    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    Experience in structured cabling, specifically with Cat 5/6 cables and 568B cable terminations.
    Knowledge of network equipment installation, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
    Familiarity with wireless access points installation and troubleshooting.
    Proficiency in cable management techniques and cleanup practices.
    Understanding of data center operations and experience with rack and stack procedures.
    Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network-related issues.
    Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other technicians and teams.
