    Full time Transportation / Logistics
    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • To lead with consistency and fairness to all employees to ensure an effective and efficient operations for all contracts.
    • Build a relationship with all customers and attend daily briefings.
    • Oversee and provide continuous coaching to supervisors and drivers.
    • Review weekly/daily schedules for coverage to align with contract budgeted hours.
    • Have a clear understanding on DOT regulations.
    • Provide safety related training and monthly operator re-training to all existing employees.
    • Monitor daily safety events on LYTX (safety software platform).
    • Coordinate with the Safety and Compliance department for all company related safety assignments.
    • Coordinate with the Fleet Maintenance Shop to upkeep fleet efficiency.
    • Assist with the compilation and communication of payroll information.
    • Able to work any shift during a 24-hour operation.
    • Perform all duties in a professional manner which promotes the image, growth, profitability, and success of the company.
    • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with issues related to drivers (private and personal matters), rates, customers, and other proprietary items.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 4-year bachelor's level degree, preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Transportation Manager related position.
    • Must have good written and spoken communication skills.
    • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Applications – Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT
    • Must be able to work with minimum direct supervision.
    • Must have strong organizational skills.
    • Flexibility in work assignments and scheduled hours
    • Ability to multi -task when necessary.
    • Ability to complete monthly Safety Initiatives set by corporate.
    • Able to coach or train management skills to Supervisors.
