    Enviva is seeking an organized and professional Administrative Assistant to support the Chief Sustainability Officer, as well as the Chief Commercial Officer and President.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform administrative and office support activities, including managing calendars; coordinating meetings and conference calls; arranging domestic and international travel; reporting expenses; preparing, reviewing, and editing documents such as letters, contracts, spreadsheets, and presentations; and creating, tracking, and maintaining electronic filing systems.
    • Assist with special projects, including creating presentations, performing research projects, and event planning.
    • Act as gatekeeper by proactively managing executive calendars.
    • Partner with administrative team to provide additional coverage as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 2 years administrative experience.
    • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Possess strong oral and written communication skills and exceptional computer skills (Outlook, MS Office Suite, videoconferencing platforms, etc.).
    • Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, juggle multiple projects, and assume additional responsibilities over time.
    • Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to reach decisions independently.
    • Ability to develop solid, trusted relationships.
    • Maintain a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude.
    • Adapt well to changing plans and priorities.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality standards.
    • Able to work a flexible schedule as business dictates.
