    What is it like as an IT Engineer at Univision?

    Senior Engineer's will work independently and on team-based tasks and projects encompassing the IT needs of our managed clients. This requires a high-level understanding of complex technical and networking concepts, the ability to translate that into useful verbiage for lower-level technicians and customers-alike. Our success is built on teamwork and providing great customer service.

    Technicians start their journey at Univision with a detailed onboarding process.

    During this time, you shadow and are shadowed by experienced teammates that show you the ropes. We believe in progressive responsibility based on ability. The more you learn the more you can do. Initially you will be identifying/triaging problems and working on lower-level issues. As your skills increase, you will be given more advanced problems to work on

    NOTE: We are currently looking for applicants who can work in a office hybrid environment in the Liberty Lake, WA area.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Ability to travel and perform on-site visits to client locations.
    • Act as an escalation point for lower-level technicians to help, mentor, and assist as needed.
    • Determine the best solutions based on the issues present and details provided by customers.
    • Effectively guide customers through the problem-solving process, and always providing excellent customer service.
    • Provide accurate information on supported IT products or services.
    • Be a team player that can take the initiative to solve various problems and see tasks through to completion.
    • Perform effectively individually and self-drive to complete delegated tasks successfully.
    • Engage in Univision's knowledge sharing programs to learn from and teach others.
    • Look for pro-active solutions for our customer's current and future needs, solving issues before they become problems.
    • Perform at a high level for diagnostics, service, and issue resolutions.
    • High level of communication and coordination internally, with vendors, and with clients.
    • Identify and recommend improvements to procedures.
    • Perform under the direction of senior engineers, and coordinators on projects.
    • All other related duties as assigned.

    Qualification/Certifications/Requirements

    • 3+ years Managed Service Provider experience required.
    • Ability to conduct on-site visits that can span hours to days and be available to occasionally travel.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Formal IT Training is desirable but not required – College, Certifications, etc.
    • Experience working with RMM remote support solutions.
    • Experience with security suites for anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-ransomware.
    • Organized and professional.
    • Excellent customer service.
    • Experience with backup suits for on-premises and off-premises file and image-based backup solutions.
    • Experience with eFax and VoIP preferred.
    • Experience with complex network solutions and deployments preferred.
    • Ability to perform various hardware services on workstations.
    • Ability to perform basic hardware maintenance on servers.
    • Experience with network hardware setup, staging, and deployment.
    • Experience with centrally managed device management consoles and environments preferred.
    • Microsoft Operating System, Software, Cloud-based Azure and 365 experience preferred.
    • MacOS experience.
    • Experience Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Skype, Zoom, etc. remote conferencing software.
