Opened in December 2021, IU Health Bloomington Hospital at the Regional Academic Health Center is a state-of-the-art facility. It provides leading-edge medicine and treatments to patients and families in the South Central Region. The Behavioral Health unit is a 26-bed unit that provides mental health care for patients over the age of 18 in an acute or crisis situation.
We utilize evidenced based practices to provide individualized and holistic care from an interdisciplinary team comprised of board-certified psychiatrists, social workers, recreational therapists in collaboration with a caring, compassionate team of nurses and patient care technicians.
