    Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Partial Remote)

    About the Company: We are seeking a talented Senior Power BI Financial Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to join a growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in helping transition the organization's reporting to Power BI.     Key Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:

    • Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize financial data effectively and facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.
    • Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, hours, timekeeping & receipts, to provide insights into the firm's financial performance.
    • Daily Reconciliation: Conduct daily reconciliation of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Research Current Reporting: Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial reporting and analysis, incorporating new methodologies and tools to enhance reporting processes.
    • Work with Relationsional Databases: Work with databases like SQL and multiple data sources.

    Preferred Skills of the Financial Analyst:

    • Experience with relational databases like SQL or Microsoft Access and working with multiple data sources.
    • Strong proficiency with Power BI creating reports, data visualizations, data sets, and measures.
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
    • Financial knowledge with Financial Statements, Balance Sheets, P/L, etc.
    • Experienced with Office 365 applications and SharePoint.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments in Finance, Operations, IT, etc.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.

    Bonus Skills of the Financial Analyst:

    • Experience with SAP, BPC, or Snowflake.
    • Experience creating SQL queries, stored procedures, and table joins.
