    Performcommissioning activities, including design reviews, preparation of testprocedures and reports, and on-site testing of UPS systems and relatedequipment.

    Conductpreventive maintenance, emergency response, equipment start-up, and fieldmodifications when not involved in commissioning projects.

    Collaborate withtechnical support teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment maintenanceor operation issues.

    Participate inthe development of Methods of Procedures (MOPs) to ensure efficient andstandardized processes.

    Consult withsupervisors on unusual problems and developments, seeking guidance andsupport when needed.

    Work from ahome-based location, coordinating activities with the team and maintainingeffective communication.

    Provideexceptional customer service and maintain high-quality interactions withclients.

    Prepare detailedField Service Reports promptly and accurately.

    Utilize handtools and test equipment proficiently to perform maintenance and repairtasks.

    Offer proactiverecommendations to clients to enhance system performance and reliability.

    Be available foron-call duty and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, asrequired by project demands.

    Travel withinthe regional coverage area is expected, and national travel may benecessary for emergency response situations.


    Qualifications:


    Preferably 3-5+years of experience in UPS field service with the ability to troubleshootdown to the component level on various equipment such as UPS, batteries,PDU's, STS, etc.

    Strong knowledgeof UPS equipment manufacturer specifications and general computer hardwareand software applications.

    Excellent verbaland written communication skills and exceptional customer relationsabilities.

    Resourceful,independent, and able to work with initiative to complete taskseffectively.

    Ability tohandle physical requirements of the job, including repeated bending andlifting of up to 100lbs during certain procedures.

    Familiarity withthird-party UPS systems (Emerson/Liebert/Vertiv, APC/MGE/Schneider,Eaton/Powerware/PDI) is advantageous.

    Technical degreefrom a reputable institution (DeVry, Lincoln Tech) is a plus.

    Prior experiencein the military or as a military veteran with electrical/mechanicalexpertise is highly valued (Navy nukes: EMN, ETN, MMNs, SeaBees, Army:Power Generation,

    Air Force:
    Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime,Coast Guard, etc.).

    Possession of aclean driving record.

    Willingness totravel regionally and nationally for emergency situations.
