Job Title:

Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our emergency department team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency, acute care, outpatient, and swing bed settings.
• Evaluates patient outcomes, consults with other staff as required, and adjusts nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
• Completes orientation packets and checklists as assigned and cross-trains to learn the use of new equipment.
• Assesses and reassesses patients' pain levels, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques and educating patients and families accordingly.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license within the state of practice.
• AHA BLS Certification, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications.

• Minimum guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.
