    Responsibilities

    The Paralegal assists in-house attorneys with corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, and financing programs, as needed.

    • Drafting, filing, and managing various business entity documents for corporations, LLCs, and partnerships with state agencies.
    • Drafting legal agreements, correspondence, and other documents.
    • Assist attorneys with transaction closings and maintain all corporate records.
    • Coordinate the signature of corporate documentation by directors and officers.
    • Anticipate support needs of attorneys across a variety of corporate legal matters.
    • Communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside attorneys, senior management, and business associates.
    • Conduct legal research as needed.
    • Manage various legal department projects and initiatives.
    • Own and maintain corporate authority structure, including delegations of authority and written consents.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Paralegal certification a plus or equivalent work experience.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word.
    • Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
