    We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Quantitative Hydrogeologist Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with strong contaminant hydrogeology technical skills and a collaborative working style to join our team in Bedford, NH. You will work closely with a team of hydrogeologists and engineers on technically challenging and exciting projects.     Essential Functions-What You Will Do

    • Oversee and manage environmental investigations for private and public sector clients at active and former industrial sites, landfills, and brownfield redevelopment sites with soil, groundwater, sediment, and soil vapor contamination.
    • Work with the team to develop recommendations for environmental strategies, remedial alternatives, and remediation designs.
    • Coordinate, interpret, and analyze various types of high resolution geologic, hydrogeologic, and geochemical field and laboratory data using innovative data analysis and visualization approaches.
    • Design, prepare scopes of work/work plans, and prepare cost estimates for high resolution geologic, hydrogeologic, and geochemical investigations.
    • Coordinate and lead groundwater hydraulic and contaminant transport assessments using numeric/analytical modeling, geochemical modeling, and mass flux-based approaches.
    • Work with engineering team to design and oversee implementation and construction of remediation systems.
    • Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, permit applications, and bid documents.
    • Interact with clients to understand their value drivers and deliver exceptional service while addressing their environmental challenges.
    • Incorporate innovative and creative sustainable approaches to remedial investigation and design and assist our clients attain their sustainability goals.
    • Develop new client relationships and/or play an important role in developing existing key client relationships.

    Competencies-What We Are Looking For
    • Interested candidates should have 5 to 15 years relevant experience with a 4-year BS degree (MS degree is preferred) in hydrogeology. Preference for analytical and numerical modeling training and/or experience including familiarity with MODFLOW using Groundwater Vistas software.
    • Be able to analyze test data from pumping tests and slug tests with knowledge of analysis methods for confined, unconfined, leaky, and fractured bedrock aquifers.
    • Possess or be working toward Professional Licensure in New Hampshire.
    • Ability to demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement and professional experience in relevant areas such as contaminated site investigations, remediation, and/or preparation of plans and specifications.
    • Experience in field investigations and subcontractor management related to assessment of soil, groundwater, sediment and/or vapor intrusion for environmental investigations.
    • Proven ability to deliver strategically focused site characterization and remediation assessments leveraging high resolution and mass flux-based methodologies.
    • Experience with completion of in-situ remediation projects.
    • Experience working with the NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) environmental regulations is preferred.
    • Strong USEPA Superfund Regulatory knowledge desired.
    • Familiarity with ArcGIS, Earth Volumetric Studios (EVS) and EQUIS are beneficial.
    • Experience as a Project Manager for small, mid-size, and/or large projects.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.
