POSITION SUMMARY:

Bocar US, has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Supervisor. The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for the day to day Operations with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will maintain a high level of accuracy with the day to day operations. Lead and develop the Logistics Team with superb customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise, motivate and train the logistic team members.
• Lead and coach the logistics team to accomplish the hourly and daily goals.
• Develop standardize work instructions for the logistics processes.
• Supervise, coordinate and oversee the day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review department processes with the Logistics Manager to ensure they meet company standards and customer service specifications.
• Responsible for securing, receiving and the storage of incoming material.
• Responsible for updating shipping orders in SAP and ensuring data accuracy.
• Responsible for entering freight data into SAP and ensuring data accuracy.
• Respond to customer inquiries and anticipate upcoming customer needs.
• Interact with customers and answer routine and non-routine inquiries.
• Receive, locate, and transfer materials accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify damage and shortage materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have 3 years of directly related Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Preference may be given to candidates with automotive/supplier experience.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Must have related work experience with SAP.
• Must have excellent Microsoft word and excel skills.
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage a variety of priorities.
• Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and business acumen.
