Job Description
A fast-growing operator in the regulated gaming and entertainment industry is expanding its footprint across Illinois and is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow partnerships across bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, and entertainment venues. The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused, field-based sales professional with a proven B2B sales track record—preferably with VGT or route gaming experience—who thrives in consultative, face-to-face selling and is comfortable traveling extensively across the Chicago and East Illinois region.
What you will be doing:
Identify, target, and secure new partner locations across bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, and entertainment venues.
Conduct in-person prospecting and cold calls to build a robust sales pipeline.
Present video gaming solutions and clearly articulate revenue potential and long-term value to business owners and operators.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent follow-up, account support, and strategic engagement.
Support existing partner locations and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
Negotiate partnership agreements aligned with client goals and company growth objectives.
Collaborate with internal operations and leadership teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery.
Stay current on Illinois gaming regulations, market trends, and competitive activity.
Track and report on sales activity, pipeline progress, and territory performance.
Experience you will need:
Proven success in B2B sales, with a strong preference for VGT or route gaming experience.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a high-travel, field-based role (80–90% travel).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background and drug screening requirements (including IGB background screening).
Familiarity with Illinois gaming markets and regulations is a plus.
