Summary of Duties:

• Perform visual mechanical inspection through all phases of the production process (Receiving, In-Process and Final).
• Generate reports, records, and maintain control of nonconforming material.
• Maintain various quality records.
• Provide input for improvements related to the job.
• Assist with inventory control as needed.
• Assist with packaging/shipping as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work well in teams with other department personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• No experience necessary. Training will be provided.

Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Basic computer skills are a plus (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills; a team player and independent worker.
• Must have good communication skills.
• An eagerness to learn.
• Detail-oriented and quality conscious.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Physical and/or Medical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; talk; reach; climb stairs; stoop; crouch; listen; vision capable of reading, viewing a computer screen and inspection of small electronic components; may occasionally lift up to 40lbs.
