    The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the monitoring and continuous improvement of the day-to-day operation of the airline, as well as achieving all performance goals of Air Wisconsin.

    The Operations Coordinator serves as the primary liaison with our partner carrier within the Chicago O'Hare (ORD) Operations Center.


    Job Functions:
    Represents Air Wisconsin and advocates for a safe and reliable operation.

    Identifies hurdles to safety and top operational performance involving gate assignments, aircraft towing, Airport Operations Area (AOA) issues, and crew movement.

    Serves as the centralized point of contact for Chicago (ORD) operational departments (Flight, Inflight) and communicates back to the System Operations Control (SOC) in Appleton (ATW).Partners with mainline and other regional carriers to pre-plan strategies for irregular operations and service recovery, while ensuring Operational Control is maintained within the SOC.Establishes and maintains direct relationships with appropriate personnel at ORD and advocates for the airline's business interests accordingly.

    Arbitrates and audits flight delay code challenges for all departments based on root cause analysis.
    Ensures direction provided from the ramp tower meets airline safety, operational, and policy standards.
    Represents the Company at airport meetings, operational conference calls, daily briefings, and other airport projects.


    Required Competencies:
    A high level of initiative and engagement in developing and coordinating implementation of operational performance improvement plans.
    Ability to understand complex issues with multiple variables and identify solutions for improvements.
    Technical skills in the MS Office suite.
    Ability to communicate fluently in English.


    Education & Experience:

    Required:

    Associates degree or equivalent related work experience2 years' experience leading process improvements in an operational environmentStrong understanding of airport station operationsAdvanced communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent customer service skills.

    Ability to travel 25% of the time.
