Description

As a S/4HANA Data Program Manager, you will spearhead the migration of our client's financial systems from SAP R3 to S/4HANA. This significant upgrade involves a series of releases over a three to four-year timeline. We are looking for a seasoned professional who has comprehensive experience managing the entire data lifecycle in large-scale SAP implementations, particularly within the insurance or finance sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end data management process for the SAP S/4HANA migration, including requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, and the development of testing strategies.
• Manage Master Data Management (MDM), data conversion, and data validation processes to ensure data integrity and quality throughout the migration.
• Design and maintain the financial accounting framework, including chart of accounts, hierarchies, and code block dimensions, ensuring the validation of financial statements and trial balances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SAP S/4HANA solutions with business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee multiple project releases, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with overall business goals.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy to validate all phases of the implementation and migration.
• Provide leadership and guidance to data management teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing end-to-end data processes in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong background in financial accounting, with in-depth knowledge of chart of accounts, financial hierarchies, financial statement validation, trial balances, and code block dimensions.
• Expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), data conversion, and data validation.
• Previous experience in the insurance or finance domain is highly desirable.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage large-scale migrations over extended periods.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of leading and motivating teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
