- Responsible for processing claims for patients under various plans and updating statuses in the RCM system
- Work on appeals/denials promptly and find solutions to prevent future denials
- Handle precertification procedures by collecting and entering insurance information
- Verify insurance benefits and coverage by communicating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries professionally
- Record benefit and certification information accurately in the computer system
- Utilize Microsoft Office products and experience with practice management systems
- High School Diploma and 3 - 5 years of Healthcare RCM experience required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and health insurance industry practices
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic records systems and data entry
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to analyze data and solve complex problems independently
- Availability to travel to different clinic locations and work overtime as needed
