Accounting Manager - Simi Valley, United States - Cenergy International
Description
Under the direction of the Division Controller, supervise activities to ensure that the corporate accounting policies and procedures are adhered to, according to generally accepted accounting principles. This includes revenue, inventory costs, accounts receivable and payable, general accounting, project costing, specific reserves, intercompany charges, fixed assets, etc.
Directly oversee the accounting team at the Simi Valley campus, and support, guide, and consolidate reporting for two other locations located in Portland, OR, and Tucson, AZ, and satellite aftermarket activities from other locations.
Requires high energy and ability to juggle several conflicting priorities simultaneously in a deadline driven environment, and unending search for improvement opportunities and collaboration/efficiency gains in all work. Master ability of partnering across all team members and all functions to ensure shared understanding of financial and controls impacts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintain the highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction, and people productivity
Ensure high standard of SOX and company policy compliance is met at all times
Provide account reconciliation and business analysis as required; oversee the proper completion of the site s and division s account reconciliations
Ensure integrity and accuracy of the financial statements and all supporting detail
Prepare monthly reports and analyses for division and corporate
Ensure all cost and other accounting systems meet corporate guidelines
Set annual standard costs and GIT accrual process
Ensure inventory and all other assets are properly valued and analyzed
Maintain general ledger, related structure and controls
Oversee Cash Manager and related Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables teams to ensure improvement of end-to-end health of cash flow, controls, and partnership across functions
Act as backup for the Division Controller in ad hoc or regular situations
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required) | Master s or MBA is preferred
Experience: 7 plus years experience in Accounting or Finance related discipline and 5 years supervisory experience
SKILLS:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Expert Excel required

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $130, 000-$170, 000/year; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
