    Our prep cooks in the back of the house play a vital role in preparing and cooking Beef's menu items following recipe guidelines. They take pride in using quality ingredients and producing top-notch dishes. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential qualities at Beef's.     Responsibilities

    • Prepare vegetables, proteins, and sauces according to recipes
    • Adhere to food safety standards for cooking, cooling, and storage
    • Follow safety and sanitation protocols
    • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area
    • Carry out tasks independently

    Requirements

    • Must be at least 16 years old, depending on state and local regulations
    • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
    • Capability to read and understand recipes, prep sheets, and specifications in English
    • Proficient in using knives and kitchen tools
    • Able to operate kitchen equipment competently
    • Capable of standing, bending, and lifting objects weighing up to 60 pounds
    • Exposed to heat from equipment and kitchen environment
